What is Professional Homeschool?

At Emerald Academy, Professional Homeschool means your child is a full-time learner under our care, taught by our teachers on campus in a formal, structured, and supportive environment. It is not home-based and it is not parent-led. Instead, it combines strong teaching, clear routines, and personalised support in a setting that feels more flexible and home-like than many conventional school models.

Our flagship programme is the Full-time Professional Homeschool programme.

For Primary learners, Emerald follows the Botswana Primary curriculum.
For Secondary learners, Emerald follows the Cambridge IGCSE and O Level pathway.

At Emerald Academy, we believe a strong learning environment should also develop confidence, creativity, leadership, and expression. Our Full-time Professional Homeschool programme includes co-curricular opportunities such as football, table tennis, chess, drama, pageantry, music, poetry, spelling bee, debate, maths and science club, and business fair activities.
